We Met Over Apps

Gen Z is over the dating apps. They’re exhausted from the endless messages and are looking for ways to connect without the anxiety of dating apps.

We noticed that influencers were using their TikTok comment sections to find dates, which made us think…. what if Applebee’s handed its comment section over to singles to help them get off the dating apps and meet over app-etizers instead 😉

So, we enlisted 10 singles across the country to each make a video of themselves asking users to apply for a date. We then paired them up with someone from the comments and flew around the country to host and capture their first date (at Applebee’s, of course).

Finally, we wrapped the program with an event at an NYC Applebee's with influencer hosts, a curated guest list of several rising creators, and plenty of singles eager to find love over hot mozzarella sticks.
